Welcome to the USS Arondight

"Whether or not we realize it each of us has within us the ability to set some kind of example for people. Knowing this would you rather be the one known for being the one who encouraged others, or the one who inadvertently discouraged those around you?"

Hello Crew,
Having arrived at Starbase 514, I hope you take the opportunity to post on the Starbase 514 website. Post something the regular way on the USS Arondight. Personal logs can now be placed as mission posts. Everyone has a personal log, so write a 3 or 4 paragraph entry about your hopes on the upcoming mission or your thoughts on the new Captain, or about me being First Officer.
If you having troubles or don't know what to write, hook up with me in a joint post. Just relax and locate your character, do something, talk to someone, imagine what your character is thinking about the upcoming mission, seeing the starbase, reacting to the change of command, or thinking about your past.
I know that life is busy and you might have about 20 minutes online. That's enough time to create a solo post. But if you have trouble swinging that, there is the LOA/ELOA option available. We understand that you may need a few weeks off, the LOA/ELOA allows you to do it.
I hope to see our post count this month higher than last month. Let's start tapping those keys and create. This experience is just a little fun playing a Star Trek character. It is play and you should enjoy it. Just give it a try.
Have a great writing day,
Commander Ellis Gordon

It is with a heavy heart to announce that Commander Liana Matthews has been removed for her inactivity and going MIA.
On a happier note Ellis Gordon our resident Chief Intelligence Officer has now been promoted to First officer with the rank of Full Commander with all the rights there in.
A post will be done shortly to bring in the promotion and transfer.
Also as he was the Second Officer Commander Gordon and I will be searching for a new Second Officer over the next few days/weeks.
Lets get back to writing posts and and doing what we love to do best. Keeping the Star Trek trilogy going with the crew of the Arondight.

Ok we have arrived at the Starbase. Your rest and Relaxation has begun. Please continue to post. Lets try to get a good start here.
As a reminder, anyone that hasn't logged on in over 14 days (2 weeks) will be considered MIA and removed from the simm. This is a highly active Simm and there are people here that are Active Simmers so please consider your actions from now on.
If you need time away please fill out an LOA/ELOA form so that you do not get in trouble.
